My name is Axel Schober.

I am the project manager of IEF and here together today with Florian Helm

the technical lead

manager and chief engineer on our side and also responsible for the BVLOS flight test

field.

Our let's say headline from the impulse speech today was how can we realize and implement

advanced air mobility strategies in Germany and in Europe.

And it sounds easy but it is not done overnight.

It is difficult.

But you can also answer this very quick.

We have to implement test fields and real laboratories to give the science and RD community

place and space to test and evaluate all the products

all the techniques and solution

which we need to bring in place.

So a new kind of traffic management to be prepared for a smart mobility century.

This was identified I think 2020 during the foundation of the company and our managing

director Thomas Ernsberger

he is coming from the manned aviation industry

also an aviation

engineer and also manned pilot with experience has seen this lack.

And we have here really seen this is the critical puzzle

what is missing currently

to get back competitiveness and to roll out all already developed good technologies here

for the European industry.

Now for our presentation, I split it into three parts.

In the first one we make a retrospective view just to analyze what we did

what was

necessary to get to readiness level and to be a certified BVLOS flight operator.

This in Germany

that is not so easy

was really an important way for networking to

permissions to have the right team members on board to procure the assets.

In the middle part I would present something then about running R&D programs for the last

five years about autonomous guided application.

I say application is not just flight systems

it's also agriculture machines

robotics and

something more.

And then Florian can explain a bit about the R&D work and programs we have running in the

Lausitz test field or which are coming soon in launch or will be starting next month.

This will be given overview and I finalize then this presentation with a bit projection

about let's say which are new arriving

where systems which kinds of infrastructure
